Second group of participants completes Cross-cultural competence – Basics course.

At the end of January, a new group of young professionals successfully completed the basic course of Culture Development. After a very successful previous edition of the course in November 2019, the number of registrations for this second course was high. As a result of the feedback we received on our previous course, we have further sharpened several themes and deepened the course material. Eventually a selection was made of 6 young professionals who started working with the updated course material for one week.

The participants were actively involved through different teaching methods. Individual presentations, interviewing, observation and various group assignments were discussed during the course. A joint evaluation was made afterwards. There has also been intensive use of renewed video and image material. As a result, the participants learned how to apply the theoretical course material, written by occupational and organizational psychologist Marc Schabracq, within the reality of their work environment and responsibilities.

We have again received enthusiastic responses. A follow-up course is planned for May this year. This time adjusted and specifically aimed at managers and team leaders within international organizations in India, or Indian organizations with international clients.
